the ,Boards Office
Monday .June 25th. �: 1928
Meeting was calledto order at 4.00 P.M.
All members were present
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved,
FIRE DEPT,
Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. '
Motion prevailed that the application of Walter J. Wojcieckowski be
accepted and ordered placed om file.
Motion prevailed that the,coal bids bids be opened and tabulated at the
next regular" meeting of July 2nd.
110tion prevailed that a notice to all chemical truck manufacterurs be
placed in the views papers in accordance with the laws requesting bids
or proposals for a new chemical apparatus assembled or any part or parts
thereof.
ELECTRICAL DEPT.
Electrical Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed that the weekly peport of Supt.,ualls for the week
ending June 24th. be accepted and ordered placed on file.
DEPT. OF WEIGHTS AND MEASURES
City sealers bills were approved and ordered paid.
POLICE DEPT.'
Police Dept. bills were ,approved and ordered paid.
Asst..Chief of Police J.B.Kuespert, Acting Chief in the absence of
Chief Hatt.reporte.d - that charees`of neglect of duty, neglect and dis-
obedience of erders, insubordination, breach of discipline, not „partolg
his district during tour of patrol duty were filed in this Office
against Officer.JoW.Vernon, and that Officer Vernon had been suspended
since June 22nd. Pnd had been ordered to appear before the Board to

George Sands whp is acting as attorney for Officer J- W.Vernon appeared
before the Board < -nd asked that Officer vernons trial be prosponed'
until Monday July 2nd. at 4- 0 P JT1
Motion prevailed that Attorneys Sands request be granted.
Motion prevailed to adjourn at 4 :45 P.M.
