I.leeting was called to order at 2 :50 P.I1. by President Engeldrum.

Minutes of the las t regular meeting were read and approved.
Fire, Dept., Police Dept., Electrical Dept., and City Seale3s bills
were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed to adjourn at 3:15.P.T1.

Meeting wa.s called to order at 4:05 P.I,i. by President Engeldrum
Notion prevailed to dispense with ;he reading of the minutes of the last.
regular meeting.
FIRE DEPT.
Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Upon the advise of pity Attorney Romig a motion prevailed to order the
Claim of 'Vim. Fiengold paid from Fire Dept. appropia.tion "Repair of
Equipment �J -5 for the sum of $39.00 for repairs to his automobile as a
result of an accident with Chief Knoblocks Fire Dept. automobile at
Prairie Ave and Sample St. on April 4th., 126 at which time
Chief Knoblock was returning to Central Fire Station from a. Fire
Motion -prevailed that a report of the accident be .ept on file in the
Board of Public 'afety Office.
The following; resolution was a.pssed by the Board and a copy of the
resolution ordered sent to the family of Ca pt. Irving Sibrel.

from Civil Service Irving Sibrel, member of the South Bend Fire Dept.
for the past 33 years,
BE IT THEREFOR RESOLVED: That the Board o' Public Safety at its-regular-
928 meeting of June 4th., 1928 express their sincere condolence to
the bereaved family.

Letters were read from Frieda. Enckhausen, local Director of Physical
Education and Recreation, and Dr. C.L.Snyder of the St. Joseph Valley
Aviation Club commending, the Police Dept. for etcellent sr•evice rendered
them.
