Meetih g was called to prder at 4:05 P..M. Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved. FIRE DEPT. Fire Dept.'bills wera' approved and ordered paid. ELECTRICAL b$PT. Electrical,Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. Motion. prevailed that the 'weekly" re-�- - -ort of Supt. Qualls f'or the proems ing week be accepted and ordered placed on file, also mon:thly_report for the month of ME.rch 1928 Supt. Qualls exhibited a "Stop "Caution" sign designed for use along the By -Pass Route Supt. Qualls was ordered to install the sign at the intersection. of Lincoln.Way West and Williams St. Motion prevailed that like signs be built and installed at other nter- sections along the By Pass Route. DEPT. OF WEIGHTS & MEASURES Motion prevailed that the weekly report'of City Sealer Burns for the proceeding week be accepted and ordered pllced on file.. POLICE DEPT. Police Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid. Motion.prevailed that the Official Bond of Officer Ed. Tesmer nameing, the Employers Liability Assurance Corp as suret$ be accepted and ordered placed on file. Motion prevailed that the Official Bond of Officer W.O.Hosler, nameing Officer W.O.Hosler as principle, and Officer WiO.Hosler, Francz Nabicht. XaArice J. Hoban as surety be accepted and ordered placed on file. .Chief Hatt reported that the new motorcycles recently purchased were equiped and ready for use, and that everthing was in readyness to .Otgrt- - t-iotoreyele riders on a new schadule'to cover the entire City ;`both night an day in a systematic manner. Chief Hatt reported that many complaints were received about radio dealers useing the loud speaker of radio on the outside of their stores and causing much annoyance,. Reviving the old Bell Ringer Ordinance to curb this nuisance was discus--- ed.
