FIRE DEPT.
Fire Dept. bills werd approved and ordered paid..
ELECTRICAL DEPT.
Electrical Dept. bills were approved and.ordered paid.
Motion preva.ilecl that the weekly'report of Supt. Qualls for the- previous
week.also the monthly report of fire alarms be accepted and ordered placed
on file.
DEPT. OF WEIGHTS & MEASURES
.Motion prevailed that -the weekly report!of City Sealer Burns for the
-previous week also monthly report for the month of'January 1928 be accepted
and ordered placed on file.
POLICE DEPT.
Police Dept. bills 'were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed that tha applications of Clarence H. Dickman and O.T.
Clark be approved P.nd ordered placed on ftlq, also. the application of dim.
C. Williams for reinstatement on the Police Dept.
A letter was received from Rev. J.Hugh O'Donnell`C.S.0 prefect of discip
line at the University of Notre Dame stateing that the University were
establishing a Police Bureau, and re nested that Chief Hatt empower their
appointed members as special JMW Ir police, offioers to act , in that ca.p-
isity for the University of Notre Dame, and that their Bureau be coi3neet
�, ed by phone with our Police Signal System. ,

Hatt be- instructed to do-operate with the newly organized police bureau
in.every way possible.
Motion prevailed to instruct Clerk to purchase two new Henderson side
cars for motorcycles no. 8 and 9
