Meeting was c~alled'to order at 4 :1 P.M. by President Engeldrum
Mr. Ilicely was not ,present.
Minutes of the last regul.r meeting were read and approved.
FIRE DEPT.
Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed that the application of Peter Jakubowicz for re-
instatement on the Fire Dept. was approved and ordered placed on
file
ELECTRICAL, DEPT.
Electrical Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Notion prevailed that the w.ee s:ly' report of Supt. Qualls for the
proceeding tae accepted and ordered placed on file.
DEPT. OF WEIGHTS & MEASURES
Motion prevailed that the weekly report of Cijsjr Sealer B -4rns for the
proceeding week be approved and ordered placed on file.
POLICE DEPT.
Police Dept. bills were approved.and.ordered paid.
Motion prevailed that the application of Joseph A. Labis be accepted
and ordered placed on fiH.
Motion prevailed that the resigination of Probation Officer Luther
lane from the Police Dept. due to an act of the 1927.Legislator
placing all Probation Officers and Court Officers on the Court
payroll and directly under the Courts jurisdiction be accepted.
Iiotion;Prevailed that bne additional motor cycles be purchased, and
that motorcycle J 7 be traded in for a new motorcycle.
Motion prevailed that Chief Hitt be instructed to make an extra
effort to check spe6ders and reik$less drivers.
Motion prevailed to adjourn at 5:15 P.M..
