AMENDMENT TO LEASE BETWEEN
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AND
A HOMESTEAD SHOPPE, INC.
THIS AMENDMENT TO LEASE ("Amendment') is made and entered into this 22°d day of
February, 2011, by and between THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, the
governing body of the City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment (collectively the
'`Landlord"') and A HOMESTEAD SHOPPE, INC. (the "Tenant').
WHEREAS, the Landlord and the Tenant are parties to an agreement entitled ``Lease'' dated
and made effective November 10, 2010, related to premises located at 123 South Michigan Street,
South Bend, Indiana, as more particularly described in the Lease; and
WHEREAS, the terns of the Lease expires on February 28, 201 1; and
WHEREAS, the Landlord and the Tenant desire to extend the term of the Lease for one (1)
month, expiring March 31, 201 l; and
WHEREAS, this Amendment is entered into as the ``Amendment to Lease" to modify the
terms and conditions of the Lease.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and obligations set forth
herein, the parties make this Amendment to Lease as follows:
1. Rent. The Tenant shall pay to the Landlord the sum of ZERO Dollars ($0) per month
(the "Rent') on or before the first day of the month.
Utilities.: Tenant shall: (a) promptly pay all charges for sewer, water, gas, electricity,
telephone, and other utility services used in, on, at, or from, the Premises (all of which
utilities shall be separately metered to the Premises) ("Utility Charges''); and (b) deliver to
Landlord, upon demand, payment of the Utility Charges.
2. Each and every other provision of the Lease is hereby ratified, approved and affirmed
by the Parties.
3. The Parties acknowledge and agree that this Amendment shall relate back to the date
of the execution of the Lease and that all remaining terms and conditions, as set forth in the Lease
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this Amendment to Lease to be executed
for and on their behalf on the day and year first written above.
