Matters pertaining to the Fire Department were discussed, but
there being nothing of importance no action was taken.
POLICE DE PAR TMENT -Chief Lane present:
The matter of physical examination of Officer Leo Berner was
taken up with the Chief, in view of the fact that the Officer had not
submitted to this examination and the Chief was instructed to have
Officer Berner attend to this at once.
The question of telephone service in the Police Department was
again discussed and, in view of the fact that the Telephone Company
advised they could not make any change in furnishing.direct lines to
the Police Department until a new telephone book was issued, it was
agreed and the Secretary was instructed to notify the Tel epho ne
Company that this change must be made at the time or before the new
book is issued.
ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT - Mr. Qualls present.:
There being no matters of importance in this department, no
action was taken.
The meeting adjourned at 10:00 A. M.
