Regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held Monday,
December 23,1935 at 8:45 A. M. All members were present.
Minutes of meeting of 'December 16th were read and approved.
Claims in the amount of $3,721.49, from the following suppliers,
were approved and'order'ed paid. Requisitions numbers 08774 to 08785
were approved.

FIRE DEPARTMENT - Chief Freeh present:
Matters pertaining to the.Fire Department were discussed, but as
there was nothing of importance no action was taken.
POLICE DEPARTMENT - Chief Lane in Circuit Court. No Officer present.
The Board, upon regular motion'by Mr. Anderson, seconded by
Mr. Woodward and regularly carried, reinstated former officer, Karl G.
Smith, to the Police Department to begin duties-January 1, 1936,
subject to physical examination, appointment to duties by Chief of
Police Lane and at regular salary, on account of having served probation
in 1920.
ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT - Mr. Qualls.present:
,There being nothing of importance to bring before the Board, no
action was taken.
Meeting adjourned at 9 :30 A. M.
