Special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held at 3:40 P. M.
Thursday, February 282 1935. Mr. Fred Woodward absent.
The.purpose of the meeting was to give decision of the Board in the
matter of the 71m. Ortman cage in which evidence was taken at the
regular meeting of the Board on Monday, February 25, 1935.
The decision of the Board, upon motion, regularly seconded and carried
was to reinstate Vlm. Ortman as an officer on. the force of the youth
Bend Police Department from the day of his suspension upon considera-
tion: that he continue to leave with the Controller w20.00 on each
and every pay day to be turned over to his wife and child for their
support, in accordance with court order.
The meeting adjourned at 3:15 P. 1d.
