November 14, 1934, at So 00, P.,M Mr. McSorley absent.
The Clerk read a communication from Chief of Police Charles E. Bailer
as follows:
"November 13, 1934"
I hereby tender you my resignation as Chief of Police of the City of
,South Bend, Indiana, the same to take effect immediately."

On motion by Mfr. Frost, seconded by Mr. Cadacz the resignation -was accepted
and Horace M. Hamilton was ordered to continue as Acting Chief and Leo
Berner to continue as Acoting Assistant Chief.
The meeting adjourned at 4 :30 P. M.
