A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was,held on Monday,
Nov. 5, 1934 at 4:00 P. M,, All members present.
Pres. Gadaoz announced the purpose of the meeting was to receive a
certain report from the Clerk regarding an accident in Whiting, Indiana
In which a car belonging to officer F. Miller and driven by Assistant
Chief Berner, allegedly figured.
The Clerk read his report exonerating the officers of all blame in the
matter-and the Board unanimously accepted same on motion by W. Frost
seconded,.by Mr.: McSorley.,
On motion by t work four seconded by s extra on election each day andithe Chief
each police shift
was so instructed.
On motion by Mr. MoSorley, seconded by Mr. Gadacz the Clerk was
authorized to purchase two dozen new police clubs.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 4:46 P. M.
