A-special meeting .ofthe Board of Public Safety was held on Thursday
afternoon, $eptember,13, 1934, at 4:.00. All members present.
President Gadacz announced the purpose of the meeting to be a reconsidera-
tion of basis of filing police, fire and electrical department payrolls
on the basis of the now rates of pay as established by ordinance #3066
of the Common Council.
The Clerk read a letter from the City Controller in which he states
that he considers the Ordinance illegal and has returned the payroll
lists made by the Board of Safety.'
City Attorney, Iden S. Romig, was called into the meeting and advised
the Board to file the payrolls according to the Ordinance and the
Clerk was instructed to do so.

on Monday mornings would be of great inconvenience to him, it was
unanimously agreed to hold such meetings on Fridays at 2:00 P. M.
There.being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 4:45 P. M.
