RE: Renewal Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit
Dear Board Members:
The Division of Environmental Services recommends approving the renewal of the Industrial Discharge Permit
for 17-.13COAT, LLC (Edcoat) at the June 26, , 2018 Board of Public Works Meeting. Edcoat is considered a
Categorical Industrial Users under the coil coating category.
There have been no substantial changes to Edcoat's operations since the last permit issuances, though average
production has changed. Discharge limits under the coil coating category are based on average production, and
therefore Edcoat's discharge permit limits have been changed. Other than the effective/expiration dates and
discharge limits, no significant changes were made to Edcoat's Discharge Permit requirements,
If you should have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at (574) 235-5,852, or at
lti'app@soLitlibetidin.gov.
Please let me know if the Pretreatment Group needs to, attend the Board Meeting to present this permit.
Sincerely,
aaVm-
