March 10, 1934 at 2:00 P,.M-, with all members present. President
Valentine J. Gadacz presided.

a. total of $727.81 for all claims. -
FIRE DEPARTIMENT:
Fire Chief, Roy A. Knbblock,0 was present and the activities of his
department were discussed.
Of. four bids submitted on a new boat, the bid of Becker & Sisson of
$48,00,being the lowest, was accepted an motion made by Mr. Trust and
seconded by Mr. McSorley4
on motion by Mr. McSorley, seconded by Mr. Trost and unanimously carried
the samples of shirt and tic submitted by the Fire Department were
approved as was the selection of the A. G. Meier & Co. as maker of
uniforms for the Fire Department.
The application of Anthony Kusnierek was approved.
POLICE DEPARTIENT:
Acting Chief, H. M. Hamilton, was present at the meeting.
On motion of Mr. Trost, seconded by Mr. McSorley and unanimously carried
the Chief was instructed to return the policy wheel and equipment to
its owner inasmuch as thewheel was in storage and not in operation when
picked up by the police.
On motion of Mr. n[cSorley, seconded by Mr. Trost and unanimously carried
the Chief was instructed to return slot machine to the Z. B. Falcon
Society as this machine was not in use but in storage when taken.
A communication from Mr. Hunter, postmaster, was read in which a request
for change in the parking plan was made. on motion by Mr. Trost,
seconded by.Mr. McSorley and unanimously carried the erection of such
signs as requested was approved and ordered the clerk to issue instruc-
tions to Capt. Hosinski to have regulations carried out to the letter.

On motion by Mr. McSorley, seconded by Mr. Gadacz and unanimously carried
Edward Morris, present night captain, was demoted to the rank of patrolman
and Samuel Koczorowski patrolman, was promoted to the office of Captain,
Effective March 15, 194.
ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT:
Inasmuch as Mr. Quills, superintendent, had notified the Board that he had
no new business to come before the meeting, his presence was dispensed with
WEIGHTS & 14EASURES:
The report --of—City Sealer, Charles J. Burns, was scrutinized, approved and
ordered placed on file.
