Board met in special session at 7:45 P.M. All members present.
Y The Board considered the report of the City Engineer on the Cluster
'� Li'Ahts in the business district of the City. The report placed on file. r
The Board granted the South Bend Home Telephone Company to set
the following poles.
To' reset a thirty five Foot pole with a forty foot pole in the alley
west of Michigan and sixty five Beet north of Colfax Avenue. This is to be placed south—
east corner of S.W.Lipp*an's barn.
The Board granted the Central Union Telephone Compare permission to
set the following poles.
To' set two 30 ft. C. poles in the alley between Bowman. an Donald
Streets, beginning about sixty feet east of Fellow Street., jointly with the Indiana-&

Petition for a street light at t the Corker of Napier Street and Pine
`,Street, was presented to the Board. The same was read and referred to the Street Com—
missioner for investigation.
Petition for a street light at the intersection of Howard Street and
St. Peter Street. The same was read and referred to the Street Commissioner for investi—
gation.
Petition filed with the Board Cor a grade, curb and walk on Francis
AVStreet from First Alley South of Sorin Street to Madison Street. The same was read and
referred to the City Engineer for investigation..
Petition filed with the Board for a pipe sevier on E. Campau Street
from Walsh Street to the First alley East, a distance of approximately 270 feet. The
same was read and referred to the Engineer for investigation.
