REGULAR MEETING
Regular -meeting of the. Board of Public Safety was held at 2 :00 P. M,
Saturday, February 10, 1934,
All members present.
The minutes were read and approved.
The Board approved bills bearing the following requisition numbers:
06785 07015 07031 06988 07030 07004 07019 09151'07018 07028 07008
07021 09160 09186 07045
and the following claims:
Indiana Bell Telephone Co. I Nov. 26 to Dec. 250 1934 $8.20
Indiana Bell Telephone Co. February 6, 1934 3185
a total of all bills of $182.63.
FIRE DEPARTMENT-
Fire Chief, .Roy A. Knobl6ck, was unable to be present.
POLICE DEPARTMENT:
Police Chief, Horace M. Hamilton, was present and reported the activities
of his department.
The report on vice conditions was submitted by the Chief, approved and
ordered placed on file.
The application of John Northrup for reinstatement on the department was
approved and ordered placed on file.
DEPARTMENT: ELECTRICAL
Superihtendentt Wm. F. Qualls, was present and the activities of his
department were discussed.
The clerk was instructed to write a letter to the Federal.Radio
Commission arranging for time for radio operators to take examination
for their second class license.
WEIGHTS & MEASURES DEPARTMENT:
Report of City Sealer, Charles J. Burns, was received, approved and
ordered placed on file.
There being no further business before the meeting the same was duly
adjourned at 4:15 P. M.
