The regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday,
January 220 1934.
Vice-President'Valantine J. Gadacz presided with Mr. William H. Trost,
Jr. in at-'Llendance.
The board approved affidavits totalling $897.89 . bearing requisition
numbers as follows:

FIRE DEPARTMENT:
Fire Chief, Roy Knoblock,
presented
the activities of his
department
for the past week.
The application of lack H,
Deverau was approved and ordered placed on
file.
POLICE DEPARrIvIENT:
Chief of Police, John B. Kuespert, was presentl,, and the activities of
the Police Department were discussed.
ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT:
Superintendent, Wm. qualls was present and discussed the activities of
his department of the past week.
WEIGHTS & MEASURES,
The weekly report of City Sealer, Charles J. Burn8, was presented and
ordered placed on file.
City Controller, E..T. McErlain, was called into the meeting and°the
p ayment of previous years• bills was discussed with regard to the
application of payments of such bills to the various appropriations.
Mr. McErlain advised the Board to let the matter rest for a few days
at the end of which time he could more fully inform the Board as to
the proper procedure.
The meeting opened at 9:00 A. M. and djourned,at/;A:30 A. M.
