REGULAR MEETING
Regular meeting of tho. board of Public Safety was held an Tuesday
Xanuary 16th' 1934. (The meeting was postponed to Tuesday from Monday
due to the Boardta attendance of the'funeral of John GrZeskowiak, father
of Stephen Grzeskowiak, Sixth Ward Councilman.)
Owing to the resignation of Mr. C.'A. Budd, Chairman, tendered to the
Mayor and accepted by him January.15th, the meeting was conducted by
Mr. Valentine J. Gadacz, Vice-President with Mr. Wm.'H. Trost, Jr.
in attendance. The meating,was called to order at 9:30 A. M.

FIRE DEPARTMENT:
Fire Chief, Roy Knoblock, was present and the activities of .his depar.t-
ment were discussed.
The applications of Ike Gondeck and John Charles oberle were approved
and ordered placed on file.
POLICE DEPARTMENT:
Tii*f of Police, Tohn B. Kuespert, reported the activities of hie depart-
-Ment.
Officer Kodhanowski presented the gasoline report for th-e. month of
December.
The application of Wm. Mizell was approved and ordered placed on file.
ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT:
'Wm. F. Qualls, Superintendent, was present and discussed the activities
of his department.
Upon request from the Studebaker Corp. the Board instructed Mr. Qualls
to move the traffic signal now located at Lafayette & Tutt Sts. to
Bronson & Lafayette Sts.
An overhead traffic signal at the corner of Madison & Eddy Street$ was
Approved.
Mr. Francis Book, radio station operator, filed report on his test
of the frequencies of the radio station..
WEIGHTS & MEASURES:
The weekly report of Charles X. Burns, City Sealer, was ordered placed
on file.
