23, 1933.
Meeting called to order by Tvir. C. A. Budd, President, at 9 -15 A. M. All
members present.
The Board unanimously agreed that the next regular meeting of this Board
will be held on Tuesday, O 31, 1933, at 9 A. M., instead of on
October 30th., 1933.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
Chief of Police, John B. Kuespert, was present and reported the activit—
ies of his department for the past week.
Upon the request of the Park Board, a special Police Commission was granted
to John Wilhelm.
Upon the request of the Bend.ix Products Corporation, a special Police
Commission was granted to Lyle A. Essex.
FIRE DEPARTMENT
Fire Chief, Roy Knoblock, was present and reported the activities of his
departmmnt for the past week.
ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT
Wm. F. Qualls, Superintendent, was present and reported the activities of
his department for the past week. Tura Qualls also presented a question-
- filled out by the employees of the .electrical Department relative
< to the performance of their daily duties. Board ordered same placed on
file
WEICFTS AND MEASURES
The weekly report of City Sealer, Charles J. Burns, was examined by the
Board and ordered placed on file.
