Meet in - p caL led to order by Mr. C. A. Budd, President, at 9 -15 A. M. All
members present.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
Chief of Police, John B. Kuespert, was present and reported the activities
of his department for the past week. Chief Kuespert presented the examina-
tion dieets for the police department, same were examined and placed on file.
Upon the motion of Mr. Gadacz, seconded by Mr. Trost, it was unanimously

decided to accept the resignation of officer Earl Null, same to be effective
as of September 9th., 1933, at midnight.
Special Police Commission was granted to Jack W. Lee, house detective for the
Oliver Hotel.
FIRE DEPARTMENT

ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT
Wm. F. Qualls, superintendent, reported the activities of IT-i's department
for the past week.
WEIGHTS AND MEASURES
The weekly report of City Sealer, Charles,;. Burns was examined and ordered
placed on file.
A claim of the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company for current from
July 9 to August 18th., 1933, in the sum of $37.85 was signed and approv-
ed by the Board.
