Board riet in regular session at 10:00 A.M. All members present.
Bids were received and opened for grade, curb and walk on Lincoln Street from Sample
Street to the Grand Trunk Western Ry.. under Improvement Resolution No. 291. In the CiV
of South,Bend, Indiana. The same were opened read and referred to the City Engineer for
investigation.
,/Communication received from the Chicago, Lake Shore and South Bend Railway Company
in reg.,,=rd to the street and alley crossings in this City, stating that they would have
same placed in good condition without further delay.
,/Communication received and placed on file from Hans E. Seidel Public Service Engineer
in regard to services as expert electrictl engineer to investigate the report of
the cost of lighting a municipal lighting plat in this City. The same was read and
placed on file.
�Phe City Engineer.filed the following estimate with the Board,, and the same was approved.

I herewith submit the estimated cost of the Ford Street pavement improve—
ment from Arnold Street to the Ildiana.Illinois & Iowa Ry. Co. right of way at $7,000.00
