All me' tubers present. ✓Petition for brick pavement on Blaine Avenue from LaPorte Avenue to Michigan Avenue was presented to the Board, the same was read and referred to the City Engineer. ✓Petition for grade on Dayton Street from Marine Street to Leer Street presented to the Board. The sane was _referred to the City Engineer. ✓Communications received Eros E.Louis Kuhns and J.M. Studebaker regarding opening of Colfax Avenue East. . The sane was read and placed on tile. The Board orde"red. the Clerk to acknowledge receipt of same. ✓Ire regard to the plat presented. by Mr. Oscar Lippman, the same was referred to the Park Cox missioners. /Communication re ceived from R.C.Thompson the Mavor of Waterloo, Iowa, regarding Gas Street Lighting. The same was read and placed on'.file ,/ Mr. Warner appeared before the Board in regard to the sewer connection to Michigan Street sewer, in front of his building as they find that the sewer is to shallow, to give service. In. the above matter no remonstrators appeared, and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find in each .and every case in, said im rovement that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improvement, and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed andapproved. Resolved further, that notices be published.on the 3Dth:2 ay of Oct., 1913 and on, the 6tz.; day of Novemmber,1913 in the South Bend Daily Nevus -Times, stating that this Board will receive bids for the oonstruction of said improvements up to 10:00 A.M. on the 5th., day of December,1913.
