Regular meeting held by the Board of Pub. lic Safety Monday,
April 24, 1933.
ifeeting called to order by Yr. C. A. Budd at 9 :20 A.Y. All
members present.
POLICE DEPARMIENT
The Board unanimously agreed to authorize Chief of Police
John B. Kuespert and Michael Barany, Clerk of the Board, to
appear before the Congressional Committee on the Interstate
Police Radio Bill.
Special police commissions of Harry E. j'jillion, ➢yle E. Beach
and Alva D. Bates were cancelled, effective this date.
Michael Barany,. Clerk, reported that the traffic lines in
the down town streets are now being painted and that the
down town district will be completed within two weeks.
FIRE DEPARTYMT
The Board instructed Fire Chief Roy A. Knoblock and 1
Barany, Clerk of the Board, to advertise for bids for
fifteen feet (1510' of fire hose, as authorized at the
regular meeting of A ?arch 6, 1933.
ELECTRICAL DEPARMTENT
William F. Qualls, Superintendent, presented weekly time
sheets and reported the activities of his department for
the past week.
WEIGHTS and RMASURES DEPARMTENT
Weekly report of City Sealer, Chas. J. Burns, was presented,
examined and ordered filed.
Meeting adjourned at eleven o'clock A.M.
