JANUARY 16
Regular meeting held by the Board of Public Safety Monday
January 16, 1933.
Meeting called to order by Mr. C. A. Budd at 9 :25 A.M.
All members present.
Minutes of last regular meeting were approved.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
Chief Kuespert reported the activities of his department for
the past week, also stated that numerous request have been
made . by merchant policemen requesting special police commiss-
ions. After discussing this matter, the Board instructed
Chief Kuespert to draw up a set of definite rules regulating
special police commissions.
Weekly report of Policewoman, Mrs. Minnie Evans, was examined
and ordered placed on file.
FIRE DEPARTMENT
On recommendation of Fire Chief, Roy A.Knoblock, the Board
unanimously agreed to officially accept the chassis purchased
from Scherman- Schaus- Freeman Company,and instructed the Clerk
to release check covering purchase.
Application of Kenneth Ludwig was approved and ordered placed
on file.
ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT
Mr. Wm. F. Qualls, Superintendent, presented weekly time
sheets, which were examined and ordered placed on file.
The Board discussed the installation of radio system with
Mr. Qualls. No definite action was taken at this time.
WEIGHTS and MEASURES DEPARTMENT
Weekly report of City Sealer, Chas. J. Burns, presented,
examined and placed on file.
Meeting adjourned at 11:45 A.M.
