Regular meeting held by the Board of Public Safety Monday,
December 19, 1932.
Meeting called to order by� Mr. C. A. Budd at 9;05 .6 clock A.M.
All members present.
Minutes of last regular meeting were approved.
Bills in the amount of $4,987.56 were approved, bearing requi-

On recommendation of Wm. H. Trost, Jr., the Board unanimously
agreed to make East Calvert Street a "STOP" street at the
intersection of Fellow and Calvert Streets.
Special police commission was granted to W. Niedbalski employ -
ed by the University of Notre Dame as night watchman.
Weekly.report of policewoman, Mrs. Minnie Evans, was examined
and ordered placed on file.
Michael Barany, Clerk, presented receipt in the amount of
$5.00 from County Treasurer for sale of an old motorcycle
sidecar which was sold on recommendation of Sergeant Bert
Olmstead and approval of Chief of Police, John B. Kuespert.
Chief Kuespert reported on the activities of his departmaz t
for the past week.
FIRE DEPARTMENT
Fire Chief, Roy A. Knoblock reported on the activities of
his department for the past week.
Applications of Zygmund J, Paczkowski and Alex Niespodziany
were approved and ordered placed on file.

The Board and Mr. Wm. F. Qualls dontinued the discussion
of installing police radio system.. No definite action was
taken at this time.
Mr. Qualls, Superintendent, presented weekly time sheets
which were examined and ordered placed on file.
