Meeting was called to der at 4:10 P.X.
Mr. Nicely was not presei2t.
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved.,
FIRE DEPT.
Motion prevailed that the-'applications of Lee Andrew Glen and.Frank Ernest
Sergeant be approved and ordered placed on file.
Motion prevailed that salary of newly appointed Firemen be made $144. per
month for their first 6 months service, and $150. per month for the second
6 months service effective Jan. lst., 1928.

116.tion prevailed that the weekly.report of Supt. Quells for the week end -
ing December 18th., 1927. be accepted and ordered,placed on fi3.e.
DEPT. OF WEIGHTS & MEASURES
Motion prevailed that the weekly report- of City Sealer Burns for the week
endi.ng'December 17th., 1927. be accep6od and ordered placed on file.
POLICE DEPT.
Geo. Sands who is acting as attorney for Officer Ray E. Kilo appeared
before the Board and asked that the trial of Officer Kile be prosponed
until 7:50 P.I.
Motion prevailed. that his request be granted.
Motion prevailed that the salaries of newly appointed Police Officers
be made ,$140.00 per month for the first six months service and $ 150. I
per monthfor` the second six'months service„_efeetive Jan. lst. 1928 I
Motion prevailed that Homer Ames who was appointed as a special Officer
by Chief Hatt on November let: 1927 be "reinstated as a regular Police Offier

as members of the Police Dept. to be assigned for duty by Chi -ef Hatt
December 20th., 1927.
