Office Monday December 5th., 1927
Meeting was called to order at 4;10 P.M.
All members were present
The minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved.
FIRE DEPT.
Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Electrical Dept. biiis were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed that the meekly reports of Supt. C,, a--Ls ar the
ending November 27th.., and December 4th., 1:27 be approved and ordered
placed on file, also the monthly report of Fire Alarms for the Month of
November 1y27.
DEPT. OF WEIGH TS & MEASURES
City Sealer s bills -we're approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed that the we:;kly reportsof City Sealer Burns for the
weeks ending November 26th., and December 3rd. be accepted and ordered
placed on file; also monthly report for the month of November 1927..
POLICE D$PT.
Police Dept. bills were approved. end ordered paid.
Chief Hatt reported that he hed suspended Officer Ray Kile on November
30th. 1927.
Chief Hatt submitted charges charging Officer kile with neglect of
duty, and. reported that he had ordered Officer Kile to appear for,trial
before the Board of Public Safety on this date.
Attorney Geo. Schock appeared for Officer Kile and asked that the Trial,
be prosponed or continued until the next meeting on December 5th.
Idotion prevailed that A ttorney Schock's request ue granted, and case
be prosponed until Monday December 5th.
Motion prevailed that the applications of Willis W. MacCorkle, and Ralph
Edward Brockha.ns be accepted and ordered placed on file.
.Motion prevailed that a 30 foot loading zone be established beginning at
the west line of the lst. alley west of Michigan St. on the North side
of La.Selle Ave.
Motion prevailed that a. 20 foot loading zone be established on the South
side of E. LaSalle Ave. beside the General Merchantile Co. Store.
Motion prevailed that Chief Hatt be instructed to bring all suspisious
char- recters to the Police Station, that they may b'e questioned and finger
printed.
Motion prevailed to adjourn at 5;012 P.M.
