All members 'present. ✓ In tie matter of the hearing on pipe sewer on Sunnyside Avenue, Colfax and. LaSalle Avenue, the same was deferred until Tuesday August 12ih.,1913 at 10:00 A.M. `j Attorney. reported the Bond signed by,; the May, Sign, Company of Toledo :!hio as principal and the Globe Indemnity Company of Toledo, Ohio as surety to be .alright. The Board approved of the same. This Bond being for the erection of bill -boards and sign -boards in the City. ✓Bond and contract signed By Hoban & Roach as principal and American Surety Company of News York as surety, for pavement on Marion Street from /Scott Street to Leland Avenue,under improvement Resolution No. 272. was approved by the Board. Bond and contract for grade, curb and walk on Tonti Avenue from Lafayette Street to Iroquois Street, under improvement ResolutionNo. 267. signed by C. L. Headley as p•incipal and A. G. Harlin and F. W. Keller as surety was approved by the Board. / Bond and contract signed by Shipe and Turner as prinicipal and Charles Weidler and William C. Jackson as surety for gravel and curb on Michigan Avenue from Olive Street to a point 1436 ft. west, under improvement resolution No. 205, was approved by the Board. ✓ Excavation bond of Alonzo J. McKinley, for One Thousand ( 1,000.00)Dollars was approved by the Board. ,/Petition presented to the Board by Mr. J. B. Witwer of 2604 Mishawaka Avenue to improve Nursery Court from llth., Street to alley between llth., and 12th. Street, by construction of grade, curb and walk. The same was approved by the Board. ,-Partial estimate allowed Mr. George Headley, Contractor for grade, curb and walk on Logan Street from Cushing Street to Scott Street, for the amount of......................160.11 ✓ The City Engineer submitted -the estimated cost of the Macadam Pavement improvement on North Shore Drive from Lafayette Street to Iroquois Street at .............. .......e— 459477.50 Bids were received and .opened on the following improvements and referred to the City Engineer for tabulation. ,,,For grade, curb and walk on Kenwood Avenue,, under Improvement Resolution No. 269. ✓ For grade, curb and walk on Linden Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 270. No bids were received on Pa vementon North Shore Drive, under Improvement Resolution No. 275. The Board ordered the same to be advertised February 16th.,1914 /No bids were received for grade, curb and walk. on Foster Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 271. .Central Union Plan of Under ground wiring in the City was approved by the Board. and they were ordered to place a blue print on file in the office of the Board before taking the original. In the matter of cement curb on. Keasey Street under Improvement Resolution No. 268. Mr. I.Hutehins appeared before the Board petitioning the Beard's permission to de this work by private contract.
