All members present. ✓.In regard to Bids received on Michigan Avenue gra veling ,and curb, Under Improvement Resolution No. 205. Hoban & Roach the;-lo*:bidders 'were. unable to complete the work In:mediately and as Ninety (90%)per cent of the property owners appeared before the Board, .asking that thid be Awarded to the second lowest bidder who agreed to start the work im— inediately. We. therefore decided to award the ' contrast to Shipe & Turner. "ontraet for grade, curb and walk off, Harris Street from Ford Street to G.T.- Western Ry. Under Improvement Resolution No. 258. was awarded to Joseph Szweda. In the matter of awarding contract for pipe sewer on Eddy ,Parry .and Francis Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 2626 The Bids received were rejected, and the .same ordered .re —let after January 15th.,1914, ,/Contract for Brick pavement on Marion Street from Leland Avenue to Scott Street under Improvement Resolution No. 272. was awarded to Hoban & Roach with Wabash Block. The awarding of .the contract for Pavement August lst. ,1913. at 10:00 A.M. on Webster Street was deferred until Friday v'In the matter of awarding oontract for Pipe sewer on Parkovash Avenue from Iroquois Street to Lafayette., under Improvement Resolution No. 259. The Board approved of said removal and ordered the Clerk to notify the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company to move same immediately. Permission was granted the Indiana & Michigan Elec. Company to set poles as follows: — To set four 401 poles on the south side of Kalarama Avenue from Hill Street to St. Louis These were approved jointly with the Home Telephone Co. poles on the South side of Ka la rama Street. In the matter of the awarding of contract for ffrade, curb and walk on Parkovash Avenue from Lafayette Street to Tecumseh Avenue,under Improvement Resolution No265.
