Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. All members present,.
✓Bids were received ,opened and read for pavement on Webster Street and Marion Street
and the same were referred to the City Engineer for tabulation.
There being no bids received on the following improvements, the Board ordered the
same re -advertised.
✓ Grad.e, curb and walk on Foster Street, from Howard Street to St. Vincent Street,.
under Improvement Resolution No. 271. The Board resolved that notices be published
on July 19th., and July 2 th.,1913. in the South Bend Daily News -Times stating
that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to
10: 00 A.M. on the 5th. , day of .August,1913. The Board , reserves the right to re je ct
any or all bids.
v/Grade, curb and walk on Linden Avenue from Olive Street to Kerley Street, ubder
Improvement Resolution,No. 270.. The Board resolved that notices be published on
the 19th. , day of July,1913. and on the 26t h. , day of July91913 in the South Bend
Daily News -Times, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction
of said improvements up to 10:00 A.M. on the 5th. , day of August21913 The Board
'reserves the.right to reject any or all bids.

Improvement Resolution No. 269. The Board resolved, that notices be published on h
the 19th., day of July 1913 and on the 26th., day of July91913 in the South Bend
Daily Yews -Times, ststing .that this Board will receive bids for the construction
of said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. on the 5th., day of August,1913. The Board
reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Cement curb on Keasey Street from Carroll Street to First Alley west, under impv9ve-
ment Resolution No. 2(58. The Board resolved, that notices be published on the
19th. , day of June ,1913. and on the 26t h. , day of June ,1913 in the South Bend Daily
Nows-Times, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said
improvement up to 10:00 A.M. on the 5th., day of August,1913. The Board reserves
the right to reject any or all bids.
,✓Hearing given on assessment roll and final -estimate for Pipe sewer on Van Buren St.
and Sancome Avenue from Howard Avenue to Michigan Avenue, under Improvement
Resolution No. 213. In the City of South"Bend, Indiana.
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances
were filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll Piled
May 27th.,1913 is benefited in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and
the Board further find that the assessment roll filed May 27th.2, 1913 ad the
final estimate allowed May 27th.,1913 should *be and the same are hereby in all
things ratified, confirmed and approved.

,Under Improvement Resolution No. 178... In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances
were filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in sacld:�°moll filed
May 27th.21913 is benefited in the amount of assessment as shown on said rolls, and
the Board further find that the assessment roll filed May 27th.,1913 and the final
estimate allowed May 27th.,1913 should be and the same are hereby in all things rats

under Improvement Resolution No. 282. In the .City of South Bend, Indiana, were awarded to
W: H. Burke.
✓Contract for water connections on St. Louis Street from Jefferson Blvd. to South Bend Avenue
under improvement Resolution No. 283. In the City of South Bend; Indiana, was awarded to
W. H. BUrke.
Hearing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 21, for -opening of Calvert Street from Carlisle
Street west to City Limits, In the City of South, Bend, Indiana.
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were
filed. The .Board find that the property mentioned in said roll are benefited and damaged
respectively as shown in said roll and said roll is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed
and approved and all action under Condemnation Resolution No. 21. is hereby concluded.
✓ Plat of Prairie Avenue Heights Addition was presented to the Board, and the same was re—
ferred to the City Engineer.
Bond,. and contract for concrete pavement on Lindner Strut from LaPorte Avenue to Mich . Ave
under Improvement Resolution No. 2610' signed by Hoban & Roach as principal and American
Surety Company of New York as surety, was approved, by the Board.
Bond and contract for grade, curb and walk on St. Louis Street from Corby Street to
St. Vincent Street, under improvement Resolution No. 254. signed by T. C. Barnes as p rinicipal
and Harry N. Barnes and Jesse A. Barnes as sureties, was approved by the Board.
Bond and contract for grade, curb and walk on .Portage Avienue. from N. line of Morris Park
to N. line of Sec. 34, under improvement Resolution No. 264. signed by H. N. Barnes as
principal and T. C.-Barnes and George Whiteman as sureties, was approved by the Board.
