Bids were received and opened on the following streets and were referred to the City Elgineer for tabulation. The same to be reported Wednesday July 9th.,1913. f Grade, curb and walk on Portage Avenue from Morris Park Addition to N. line of See. 34. T. 39 N. R. 2 E. Under improvement Resolution No. 264. f Grade j curb and walk on Corby Street from E. end of Street as platted and laid out in Morey's Addition to Walsh Street. Under improvement Resolution No. 257. JGrad.es; curb and walk on Logan Street from Scott Street to Cus.-ning Street, under Improv. rent Resolution No. 255. ✓ Grade curb and walk on Parkovash Avenues from Lafayette Street to Tecumseh Street under improvement Resolution No. 265. There being no bids -received on the same, the Board ordered same re-aalvertist Therefore resolved that notices be published on the 9th.1 day of July, 1913 and on the 1-6t_'1.1 day of July,1913 in the South Bend Daily News -Times, stat- ing that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said s.mprovenen.t up to 10:00 A.M. on the 25th., day of July,1913. Tne Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Raley regarding grading and paving with gravel Micrligan: Avenue. The same was read and placed on file. /Communication received. from Mr. C. D. Eminons of the Chicago, South Bend & Northern. Indiana Railway Company in regard to the brick on. Vistula, Avenue. The same was read and placed on file. /Petition wa.s presented to the Board petitioning the Board to remove light from corner of Fassnaeht Avenue and, Studebaker Street to Studebaker Street at the 2n.d. alley north Linden Avenue. The Clerk was ordered to write and_ Ball Mr. C. H. Defree t s attention, to this. The following ten (10) year guarantee bond was approved and released by the BOard. To set 1-351 pole on the southwest cornerof Longley Ave. and Olive St. 1-401 pole an the west side of Olive Street in front of the Kaley School. 1-401 pole on the northeast corm corner of Blanch Lnd Kendall Ave. 1-401 pole on the northeast corner of Taylor and- Calvert St. a-nd 6-351 poles on the north side of Calvert St., between.
