RESOLUTION of THE BOARD OF P11BLIC WORKS.
On motion dulY made and seconded, the following preamble avid resolu—
tions were unanimously adopted:
WHEREAS. This Board did on the 29tr-,.9 day of Apri1,1913 deem it exp—
edient and of public utility to permanently improve Lintner Street between
Michigan Avenue and La Porte Avenue,by paving the roadway of the same, and did
on said date pass and adopt a resolution authorizing said permanent improvement,
and
WHEREAS. The City Engineer has prepared and filed with this Board
a report showing the number and loeation, as well as the material to be used and the
manner of levying the same, of the service pipes, mains, conduits, laterals and eon—
noetions which are, or will be neeessa.ry to aecommoda.te the abutting property om- ers
with gas, water, heat, steam or any other product for which any pe.rson,rirm or
corporation has been granted e. franchise for supplying the citizens of the City of
South Bend., Indiana, wnien report is as Collows:—

BE IT RESOLVED. That se.id report of said City Engineer be and is
hereby adopted..
And be it further Resolved, that it is aontaaxplated by this Board
to improve Lintner Street from Michigan Avenue to La Porte Avenue, a;.i_ 1 in said
City of South Bend, by construetson of Pavement, and that' it is and is hereby so
deelared, necessary for the • Northern Indiana Gas & Electric Company, which has,
and operates under, a. franchise from said City to supply gas to the Citizens of
said City, to provide and install mainss, laterals, service pipes and connections
for gas in said part of said street, of the description, location and number set
Forth in said report of said City Engineer, which mains, service pipes and aon-
nections are hereby declared necessary for theimmeiiate use of said company in
supplying gas to the owners of property abutting upon said part of said street.

RESOLUTION OF, THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
On notion duly made and seconded, the following preamble and resolutions
were unanimously adopted By the Board'of Park Commissioners.
WHEREAS. This Board duel on the 2„_th. , day of May,1913 deem it expedient and
of Public utility to permanently improve St. Lduis. Street between Jefferson Blvd. and. South
Bend Avenue, by paving the roadway of the same, and did on said date pass and adapt a
resolution authorizing .said permanent improvement, and .
WHEREAS. The City Engineer has prepared and filed with this Board a report
showing the number and location, as well as the material.to be used &nd the marmer of laying
the same, of the service pipes, mains, eor+dL.its,laterals and connections which are, or Mill
be necessary to accommodate the abuttin;.. property owners with gas, water, heat, steam or
any other product' for which any person, firm or corporation has been granted a franchise
for supplying the citizens of the City of South Bend, Indiana, which reportisas follows:
