Delagation of resident property o-Nners living on Vistula, Avenue appeared before the Board in regard to the re —setting of poles 'in and along Vistula Avenue. The a same was taken under advisement. Petition was filed with the Board from property owners on Pennsylvania Avenue from Michigan Street to Miami Street. The same was referred to the City Engineer- for investigation. Petition riled with the Board for Street Light to to placed at 2122 Marry Avenue. The same was referred to the Street Commissioner for investigation. Engineer filed the following estimate$ and the some was approved by the Board. To the Hon. Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend., Indiana. Gentlemen: — I herewith submit tine estimated cost of the Eddy Street, Perry Street and Francis Street pine sewer iiumrovenient at 811.100. ^ Re sp e atf'ully, City Engineer. Bids were opened_ for pipe sewer on Birdsell Street from lst. alley So. of Fassnaeht Avenue to a point about SO feet north of Linden Avenue,under Improvement Resolution No 227. The same was referred to the City Engineer for tabulation. Bids for water and sewer connections on Kemble Avenue under Improvement Resolution No. 274. The same was referred- to the City Enineer for tabulation. J Engineer files assessment roll and final estimate for Pipe sewer on Marietta Street from Wenger Street tie Pennsylvania Avenue, under Improvement Resolution N No. 214. In the City of Sout'ti bend, Indiana. Resolved by the. Board of Public Works of . the City of South Bend, County of /St. Joseph.)State of Indiana. That the construction of a local sewer, intended and adapted only for local use by the property holders whose property abuts th reon, and not intended or adapted for receiving sewerage from collateral drains, be and the same is,hereby ordered in and along SUNNYSIDE AVE. LASALLE AVE. AND COLFAX AVE. AS FOLLOWS,to@wit:- Beginning at the intersection o.f Jefferson Blvd. s:nc? Sunnyside Ave. thence north along the center line of said Sunnyside Ave. to the .center of LaSalle. Ave. with a. 15 ineh vitrified. serer pipe. Also begin at the -center of Sunnyside Ave. and Colfax Ave. thence west e,long the center Line of said Colfax Avenue to the center of lot 32 Kuhn's Add. with a 10 inch pip sewer. The cost of said improvement shall be apportioned against and paid by the property holders whose property abuts thereon, and -upon the City of South Bend of the City is bensftt*d by.said improvement, all according to .the method and manner provided for in Act of trle General Assembly of the State of Indiana, entitled "An Act Con- cerning Municipal Corporations," approved March 6,1905. Assessments, if deferred, are to be. paid in ten equal annual installments, with interest at .the rate of Six per cent per annum, , A bond or bonds shall be issued to the Contractor in payment for property owner or ow ers for work,orpfor the eolleation of same, or for the payment of any bond or bonds, certificate or certificates, issued to said contractor in payment dor such work, except for such honeys as shall ha, ve been actually received by the City from the assessments for such improvement, or such moneys as said City is by said above entitled Act required to pay. All proceedings had, and work done in themaking of said improvement, asses spient of property, collections of a,ssessuie a,ts and ibsuance of bonds therefor, shall be as provided for in said above entitled Act.
