✓ A Committee from the Chamber of Commeree appeared before the Board, soliciting the Board
to assume tbio expense of the cluster lighting along the downtown business streets, and
substitute the same for the over head lighting. The Board took the matter under consider—
ation.
In, the matter of the nearing on the Condemnation Resolution No . _ 20 for a, Highway south
of Sample Street, all action was deferred on the same until June loth., 1913 at 10:00 A.M.
The Board approved of the. Following poles being set.
j/ To the Indiana '& -Michigan Electric Oimpany, permission to reset one 40 ft. pole and to,
set one 40 ft. pole for the aeeommodation of eollneeti®n for 300 H.P. motor at the Central
Pumping Station. The same were approved temporarily, as the same are in the underground
district.

The Board ordered the Clerk to advertise for Bids on Sewer Connections on Brick
Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 249. The same was advertised on June
3rd.1913 and on the 10th.,, day of June 1913 in the South Bend Daily. Times,bids to
be received June llth.,1913 at 10:00 A.M.
Contract for Water connections on Brick Avenuelunder Improvement Resolution No.
249 was awarded to W.H.Burkee
Partial estimate on Grade, curb and walk on Corby Street from Notre Dame Avenue to
Walsh Street, under improvement Resolution. No. 1412 to Hugh Anderson, contractor
