x --Friday May 9th«, 1913. Board met in regular session. At 10:00 A.M, Mr. Lambert absent. Mr. Dixon, of the Firm of. Dixon and Looker, appeared before the Board In regard to a switch`on. Mishawaka Aeanuaj,_ The same was made special --business for Tuesday ,May `l3th.., 1913. at 10:00 A.M. ,i ',Petition was fled with the Board for pavement 'on. Webster Street from ,Sample Street ©uuh. The same was read -and was referred to the City Engineer for investigation.. Petition filed -with the Board for Macadam Pavement Pavement on North Shore. Drive,rom Lafayette Street to Iroquois Street. Resolved by the Board of Public Works o-f the City of South Bend,St. ✓ Joseph County,State of Indiana, That it is deemed necessary to improve PARKOVASH AVENUE on North, side of Parkovash Place Park from LAFAYETTE ST. toTECUMSEH AVE. By grading the said street from property line to property line and con- structing cement walks and curbing the roadway and around the Park: All as shown on plans and in accordance 'wi.th profiles, detail drawings and specifications on file in the office of the Department of Public Works of said City. And such improvement is now ordered.) in accordance with the profile, details, drawings and specifications on file in the office of the Department of the Board of Public Works of said City; and such improvement is now ordered. In. the abo,=e mutter a-remonstratorq appeared but no remonstrance was filed. The Board after due consideration decided to deferr all action 4until May^ 7,rd 1913 . At-7:45 P.M. Hearing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 22 for the purpose of appropriating c strip of land for the widening of Turnock Street from South Bend Avenue to Corby Street. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board after due consideration decided to deferr all action until May 2.3ra L 1913 at .7:45 P.M. Hearing .given on Condemnation Resolution No. 23 for the purpose of appropriating a. strip of land for the opening and extension of Huey Street. In the above ratter remonstrators appeared and a remonstrance was filed. All remonstrances were over ruled and thereupon,being fully advised in the matter the Board takes final action on said resolution, confirming without modifi€ation,all for- mer action taken on the some. The Board therefore declares the 'above property in all things condem- ned and appropriated for public use, and the Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all the owners or holders of property and off' valuable interests there in sought to be taken or to be injuriously affected, which said list or roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected. i/ Hearin .y given on. The Board therefore declares the above property in all things condemned and appropriated for public use, the Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all the owners or holders of property and of valuable interests therein sought to be taken or to be injuriously affected, which said list or roll shall also cribe the property beneficially affected. Hearing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 26 for the purpose of appropriating a strip of land for the opening and extension of Foster Street from Howard Street to St. Vincent Street. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board being fully advised in the matter takes final action on said resolution, confirming without modification, all former action taken on the same. The Board therefore declares the above property in all things con- demned and appropriated for public use, the Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all the owners or holders of property and of valuable interests t4mwk, therein sought to be taken o2t to be injuriously affected, which said list or roll small also described the property beneficially affected. V/ En the matter of the hearing on Birdsall Street,under Improvement -Resolution No. 227. Remonstrators appeared, but no further remonstrances were filed. The Board after due consideration deferred all action until May 23rd. 1913 at 7:45 P.M. In the matter of the hearing on Adams Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 240.
