Vorn for an electric light at corner of Portage Avenue and Queen Street. Referred -to -Inspector. Permission granted to Indiana Bell Tel. Company to set one pole and anchor to pole in rear -of 1109-Birner Street. Are light ordered Alaced at northwest corner of Alt,geldt Avenue and Marine Street. Are light ordered placed at the corner of Ewing Avenue and Scott Street and at corner of Donald Street and Talor Street after January lst,1924. Inspector recommended that when there is an are light, placed at the Meade Street crossing of the New York Central R. R. to place the light at Merry Avenue to the corner of Washington Avenue and Meade Street. The New York Central R. R. should pay for and place an are light at the Meade Street crossing. There is now ordered one fire box to be placed at the corner of Meade Street and Division Street. Report approved and referred to the Common Council to request, Railroad to provide light. Complaint about broken sidewalk at corner of Cushing Street and Lincoln Way West in 400 block. Read and placed on file for consideration in February or March of 1924. Petition filed for paving and Boulevard lights on Victoria St. from Michigan Street to Fellows Street. Blvd. lights eliminated. Paving to be taken up for consideration in Spring of 1924. Engineer signed assessment roll for pipe sewer on Dayton Street from Caroline Street to a point 384 feet east. Assessment roll adopted and final estimate allowed. Notice of adoption of the assessment roll and of hearing upon the same on the 5th. day of December 1923 at 7:15 P.M. ordered published as provided by law. Plat of Lincoln Manor Addition to South Bend, Indiana approved by the City Planning Commission under date of November 1st.0 1923 approved. ( Insert see dedication ra files.).
