Bids were received, opened and read on following improvements:- Pavement on the alley west of William Street from Division Street to South Street, Bids submitted by Reith Riley Constr. Co. All Above bids were aeferred to the City Engineer for tabiation to be reuorted on Wednesday November 14th., 1923 at 7:15 P.M. White oonstruc#►ion Company reported that curb at Lots 290 and 201 on property of Lee C. Steele and Leo Wittner on Bowman Street reported broken is repaired.' Board ordered $50.00 released. Wesley Miller granted permission to put in a catch basin in front of Coal yards on Tutt Street. E. T. Bonds presented skatch or the A. T .& T. Company proposed terminal if Prairie Avenue is widened and proposed terminal fixture Ef Studebaker's widens street 10 feet as is reported. Approved. Building Dept.`foor the month of Oct. 1923 approved. Waiver tiled by Whitcomb & Keller for grade, curb and walk on Victoria Street from Marine Street to Clyde Street, with agreement to essun3e any assessment of property not represented in the wiiver if contested. Communication received from South Bend DeveloPement Company in regard to street lights in Harter Heights. Read and placed on file. Westinghouse Eiee & Mfg. Co. granted permission to install ornamental street lighting posts on Notre Dame Avenue betwee North Shore Drive and Grand Trunk Railroad side and directly in front of Geo. Cutter Plant as indicated on blue print submitted. d. Excavation bond fors the sum of $1,000.00 of A1ex*Belkin approved ` Petition filed for light on Meade Street from Division Street to Washington Street filed by Stephen Guzicki. Referred to Inspector for report. Partial estimates allowed as foiiows:- will'istn Construction Company for pavement on Altgledt Avenue from Mich. St. -t,o Erskine Blvd. a• ....... .0l0, 398.1 Williston Construction Company for pavement on Lafayette Blvd. from La` Salle Avenue to Jefferson Street at..$161075.54 Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for cement curb on Division Street,, Huron Street, Ford Street, Dunham Street, Sample Street, Dundee Street and Camdem Street all in Summitt Place Fifth Addition. Assessment roll adopted and final estimate allowed. Notice of adoption of the assessment roll and of hearing upon the same on the 17.119•21 day of November 1923 at 7115 P.M. ordered published as provided by law. Lngineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for cement sidewalk and grading on Division Street, Huron Street, Ford Street, Dunham Street, Se;mp2e Street, Dundee Street and Candem Street all in Summitt Place 5th.
