Action on bids having been deferred to this date, the Board now
designates Sheet asphalt using Mexican asphalt as the kind of -pavement with which

Be it Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South
Bend; St, Joseph County,,. State of �;,4414naj Ahat it, is desired and deemed necessaryt
to improve. -alley north .ot Wayne Street from Carroll Street to Lincoln Way East as

Said alley shall be graded and the roadway_ thereof shall be paved,
also the roacbmy of certain portions of the streets and alleys which enter or Intop
ecat . said alley shall- be graded A:4d ,la7e4. The paving material to be .used in ki-g
said Improvoment shall be sheet asphalt bitulithic, asphaltic conarete, brick or
