Geo. A. Davis Building Commissioner reported before the Board
and reported the following: -
The condemnation order attached herewith referre to
an old barn that is dilapidated and beyond repair, and the owner is proposing to
repair `nnd rembdel 'same. and I recommend thatthe City Attorney be instructed to
gfxx enjoin the owner from repairing same and that it be torn down as provided
for by the Buildtng Code. Same approved and referred to the City Attorney.

not constitute a majority of: signatures. Bids were ordered advertised for on the
20th. day of Sept. 1923 and on the 2.7th, day of Sept. 1923 to be received on the
9th. day of October 1923 at 10:00 A.M. Board reserves the right to reject any and
all bids. .

Be it Resolved by the Board of Publ•i_6 Works -of the. City of South
Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, that it is desired and deemed,nooessary 60

Said : aaeat alley shall be graded and the roddway thereof shall
be paved; also the roadway of certain portions of the streets and alloys which_ enter
or intersect sa°i-d' alley shall be graded and paved. The paving n�al,erI' to be used in
making said improvement shall be Sheet asphalt, bitulithic, asphaltic concrete, Briok'
or Portland Cement concrete pavement seven (7) inches thick, and the foundation shall
be Portland cement concrete Six (6) inches thick the sheet asphalt, bitulithics,
