the City.
Plat of Walnut Addition approved -by the City Blanning Board
on the 19th. day of July 1923 Was approved this 25th. day of July 1923 by
the Board with the fallowing dedications
WALNUT SECOND ADDITION.
The annexed plat is a plat of Walnut Second Addition to the
City of South Bend, St. Joseph.County, Indiana, and comprises the following'
described treat of land, topwit:-
A tract of land twenty-eight and one half
(2e6,15) reds in width from east to west taken off of and from the east side
of the east one-half (j) of the southeast one -quarter (A) of seebton fifteen
(15) Township thirty-seven (37) north of Range two (2) east, that lies south
of Indiana Avenue and north of Prairie Avenue in the City of South Bend, and
being that part of lot No. Two (2) lying south of Indiana Avenue as shown
on the plat of the partition of said land between the heirs of Emily Perkins
deceased, made by order of the St. Joseph Circuit Court at its May term
1889, a transcripts of said order of partition and a copy of said.plat were
recorded in the Recorder's office of -said County June llth,, 18899, in
Partition" Deed Record Vol . 1 at page 134, to which xk1 reference is here-
by made for greater certainty of description, excepting and reserving
therefrom one (1) sere more or less in the southw st corner thereof at the
point of intersection of the east pine of Section fifteen (15) with the north
of Prairie Avenue; thence north on said east line of section twenty (20) rods; thence
west, eight (8) reds; thence south on a line parallel with said east line of said
section until it strikes said Prairie°Avennue; thence northeasterly with the line of
said read to the place of beginning.
The plat contains eighty-three (83) lots -numbered -from sixty-one is
one.hundred forty --throe (61-to 143) inclusive. The size of the lots and the width of
streets and alleys are marked on the plat in feet and decimals thereof. The streets
and alleys are hereby dedicated to the public for use as public highways,
'In Witness Whereof, the said James Oliver, Second, Gertrude Oliver
Cunningham, Joseph D, Oliver, Jr., and Susan Catherine Oliver; Trusteet under a deed
of trust from Joseph D. Oliver, have caused their named to bee hereuntosubscribed
by -the hand of Joseph D. Oliver Attorney in fact for said Trustees, on this 24th, day
of July., 1923,

Resolved further that the entire work under the above -contract
be accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed.

hearing and receiving objections of any persons interested in said matter.

This being the date set fv the deterred hearing on the
Condemnation Resolution NO. 73 for the appropriation of a strip of land
Sax four W) feet wide for an easement of Trunk sewer across Studebaker
Tract . In this matter hearing deferred until Wednesday August 8th., 1923—
at 7:15 P. M.
