Bills # to were approved and.ordered paid. --Pik Press en , Board Public a e y The regular weekly meeting of the Board of Public i5afety was_held in the Board roams at 4s30•P.M. July 27, a postponed meeting due to the fact that the American Legion Convention was held in the city on Monday and Tuesday. Mr Engeldrum and Mr. Reeder were present. Bills for the fire department were allowed and ordered paid. Requisitions for the fire dept' were approved.. The application of John, Wolowicz and Sylvester Riffel was approved and ordered placed on file. Bills for khe:Electrical Dept. were approved and ordered paid., On - motion of Mr ; eecter Mr. 1[ualls was% instructed to erect a traffic signal at LaFayVete and Wayne Sts. at once. On motion. of Mr. Engeldrum and passage by a second of Mr. Reeder a police box located in an isolated alley off Mishawaka Ave was ordered moved to Misiawaka'Ave and a.pedestal installed , for same, at once Bills for the weight and measures dept-. were approved and ordered paid.. Motion prevailed to file the weekly report-of this dept. The reinstatement.of'Officer Lucius LaFortune was acted upon. 116tion prevailed. to reinstate 1aFortune 'as 'of August lst:- providing a physical examination of the police surgeon shows his ability to qualify. Said examination to be submitted: by the Clerk of the Board to the Seeretary of the Pension Fund for aetion, before assignment. Assignment to be made by Chief dames 1.
