Motion prevailed that "the request of Capt. Lane for a 6 month furlough, begim-
'ng June 22nd., 1927 be granted
motion prevailed that the Clerk be ordered to advertise for bids for the
next winters supply of coal as soon as possible.

Motion-prevailed that the application of Police Officer Sylvester Zell for.

Motion prevailed that the application of Joseph Grzeszezyk be accepted and
ordered placed on file.
ELECTRICAL DEPT.
Motion prevailed that the weekly report of Supt Qualls for the wekk ending
June 18th. , 1927 be accepted _tnd orderew ka eed o,�. file.
Motion prevailed that Supt. Qualls continue his membership in the Inter
natioal'Assn of Mu.nicipial Electricians, and that his dues for the year 1928
be ordered paid.

officer on dyty during the American Legion State Gonvention in this City
on July 24th, 25, and 26th. of this year.
Motion prevailed "that Chief Hatt be instructed to make every effort to
apprehend speeders, reckelss drivers, and other traffic law violators, and if
possible to engage more Officers in the work of checking traffice law
violations.
