Engeldrum. All members were present Motion prevailed to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last regular meeting. FIRE DEPT. Bills - 3 3 to 3 7 0 were approved and ordered paid. Motion prevailed that the resigination of Peter P. Jakubowiez as a member of the Fire Dept. be accepted.w- On a motion by Mr. Reeder and a second by Mr. Nicely, Stanley Hes was appointed as a member of the Fire,Dept.,,and that he report for duty-when called by Chief Knoblock. Because of the fact that Fireman Gust. Giede has filled a regular position on the Fire Dept. since the death'of Fireman Gorka on December_lst. 1926, motion prevailed that his probation period be dated back to.that date. ELECTRICAL DEPT. Mo.tion.,prevailed that the weekly report of Supt. Qualls for the week end- ing April 16th. be accepted and ordered p laced on file. DEPT. OF WEIGHTS & MEASURES Motion prevailed that the weekly report of City Sealer Burns for the week ending April 16th. 1927 be accepted -and ordered placed on file. POLICE DEPT. . 4 Bills # /25-Y to l2 70 were approved and ordered -p& d. Motion prevailed that the application of Cliffmrd Lake be accepted and ordered placed on file. Motion prevailed that the application of Former Officer Martin B-asczkowski for reinstatement be accepted and ordered placed•on file. Motion prevailed that.the bid or proposal of the Richard K. Kuhn Co.. So. Bend, of #765.08 to give the Cadillac Police Ambulance a complete over hauling according to specifications on file in this office be accepted, ." and that Chief Hatt immeadiately make arrangments to have an ambulance in the place of the Police Ambulance while it is being repaired. Lotion prevailed that the petition of Frank Koesis, Findlay Ispan, Alex Langel, John Sule, and others to grant special police power to Frank Koesis not be granted. Meeting adjourned at 0 :00 P.M.
