Engledrum Mr. Nicely was not present. Motion prevailed to'dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last regular meeting. 1 XIRE DEPT. Bills # 30 �6 to 3/ b were approved and ordered paid. Motion prevailed to accept and order placed on file the application of Chris W. Burgess for the Fire Dept. Chief Knoblock reported that the Seagrave Pumper recently delivered had been inspected, and tested and found to.be according to specifications Motion prevailed to accept the Pumper ELECTRICAL DEPT. Motion prevailed to accept and order placed on file the weekly report of Supt. Qualls for the week ending Feb. 19th., 1927 Supt. Qualls also reported that the oable necessary in extending the Fire Alarm System to the nevi lire Station in River Park is to be shipp- ed from the factory in Hazelton Pa. on Feb. 26th. A ftetition was received from the citizens in the vecinity of E. Wayne and Harriet St. for a Police Patrol Box to be placed at intersection of E. iayne and Harriet St. T4otion. prevailed to refer this matter to Chief of Police Hatt And Supt. Qualls of the Electrical dDept. with instructions to investigate the nece ssity of this Police Patrol Box and make a. report at-the next regular meeting. Motion prevailed to instruct Supt. Qualls to install a duplicate traffic signal control at the Alarm Station. DEPT. OF WE3DGHTS AND MEASURES Motion prevailed to accept and order placed on file the weekly report of City Sealer Burns for the woek ending Feb. 19th., 1927. POLICE DEPT. Bills to 73 were approved and ordered paid. Motion prevailed to accept and order placed on file the applications of Hans E. Anderson, and Ma.rla.nd J. Motion prevailed to allow Supt;, Qualls untill the next regular meeting that he "might be able to submit'a more complete report of traffic conditions at the intersection of Colfax Ave. and William St. Supt: Qualls reported that the relays on the traffic signal lights were badly worn and were causing the bells and lights to stick. Motion- prevailed to instruct Supt. `walls to replace the old relays as soon as possible. Dept.. of Weights & Measures Tdotion prevailed to accept and order placed on file the weekly reportof _ City Seal er ,Burns for the week ending March 5th,1927; also monthly report for the month of February 1927. City Sealer Burns reports that he finds conditions in the city as to faulty scales and short measures among the merchants "much improved over conditions of a year ago. POTaICE DEPT.
