Hearing had on Condemnation Resolution No..72 for. the Opening of
an alley in Frantz Addition. In the above matt,er:Atty. Obexchaia appeared for
petitioners and Atty. Peak appeared for remonstrators . The Board after hearing
all parties interested in said eendemnation proeeedixgs, deferred this hearing
to April 25th...9 1923 at 7:15 P.M.
+ Hearing had. on resolution for the pavement, on Wayne Street from
St. Louis Blvd.. to Eddy St,reetir under Improvement Resolution No. 1'129. In the
City of South Rend, Indiana, .
In the above matter remonstrators appeared and additional writn
written remonstrance was 'filed, but upon report of City ,Engineer there are thirty
eight resident free -holders and seventeen remonstrators. The Board after hearing
all interested parties in this improvements* and being fully advised in the premix
premises, destdes_that the benefits to property liable is be assessed for said.
improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City
Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally
adopted and the same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved.
Resolved further, that notices be published on the 27th, day of
Vxyx April 1923 and on the 4th. day of May 1923. In the South Bend, News Times ad
and Tribune, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of
said improvements up to 10:00 A.M. Tuesday May 15th., 1923. The Board reserves
the right to reject any and all bids.
