Hearing had on resolution for the improvement of Wayne Street from St. Louis Blvd. to Eddy Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 1129 for the paving of same _ In the above matter remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance was filed. The Board after hearing all interested parties present, decided to defer action on said resolution until Wednesday April 18th., 1923 at 7:15 P.M., and remonstrance referred to City Engineer to check as to majority of names and report on same Wednesday.April 18th., 1923 at 7:15 P.M. City Attorney L..W. Hammond with Atty. G. A. Farabaugh appeared before the Boara� and :disoi�>3sed the law suit now.p�&nding of Andrysiak vs :the City in .regard to the Widening of Johnson Street. The Board advised the City Attorngy to take whatever action necessary in this matter, no action taken by the Board. Hearing hadonresolution for the grade, curb and walk on Johnenn Street from Humboldt Street, to Elwood Avenue under Improvemgnt, Resolution No. 1123. In the above matter.Mr. Andreysiak appeared but no written remonstrance was filed. The Board being fully advised in the.premises, decides that,the benefits to property liable to be assessed for amid improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same , as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, -and the same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed ,and approved. Resolved further, that notices be published on the i2th. day of April 1923 and -on thel9th. day of April 1923 in the South.Bend.News Times and Tribune in said City stating than this Board will receive bids for the doTistrualianoe'f said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. Tuesday -May lst._,.1923. The Board reserves the right °to reject any and all bids. Hearing had on improvement Resolution No. 1130, for the pavement on Yukon Avenue from Portage Avenue to Riverside Drive, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. • Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance ,was filed. The Board` therefore being fully advised irl •the premises, decides that the bener- �fits to proert,y liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost, of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted and the same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirm and approved. Resolved Furth_r, that, notices be published on the 12th. day of April. 1923 and on the i9th. day of April 1923 in the South Bend News Times and Tribune in said City, stating that this Board -will receivesbids for the construction of said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. May 1st., 1923. The Board reserves the right to reject ant and all bids. Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 1128. for the pavement on Miner Street from St. Peter Street to -Notre Dame Avenue, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed. ( AttY. Bergan appeared and requested that pavement improvement be extend to Eddy Street, same not granted.) The Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved. Hearing had on improvement resolution No. 1127 for the grade,' curb and walk improvement on Donmoyer Avenue on north side, from Michigan Street to Fellows Street. in the City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed. TIpon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remon- strance was filed, The Board being fully advised in the premisea, decides that that the ebenefits'to property liabielto be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City CivilEngineer, as thereupon takes final action on said resolution asjeriginally adopted, and the same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmwd and a�ppr'eved. Hearing had on Resolution for the pavement on the alleys between Carroll Street and*Columbia Street and South Street and Bronson Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 1102. In the City of South Bend, India. In t e above matter remonstrators appeared and written remonstrance filed. The Boardd after he ring interested property owners present decided and hereby order that said 'improvement Resolution be rescinded. Hearing had on assessment roll 96 awards of damages and assessments of benefits for the Vacation of a change in location of a part of Rose Street from Blaine. Avenue to Kessler Boulevard, under Vacation Resolution No. 70. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter no remonstrators appeased and no written remonstrance was filed.
