Property owner on Van Buren Street appeared and requested that said Street be paved. The Board advised that a written petition be filed for same., Hearing'had'on assessment roll and final estimate for the Grading of Division Street from Meade Street to Chicago Street, under Improvement, Resolution No. In. the City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter no remonstrators,appeared but, a written remon- strance was filed from the Clem Studebaker Estate, -in regard to damage to sidewalk along said property. The Board therefore find that the property,assessed in said roll filed March 1923 is benefitted in the amounts as shown on said roll, and the Board further find, Yhat the assessment roll' filed March 1923 and the final estimate allowed March 1923, should be and the same--are.hereby in 11 things, ratified, confirmed and approved. Written remonstrance received read and placed on -file from property owners remonstrating against sewer on Stanfield Street. Deferred hearing had on resolution for the pavement on Linden Ave. from La Porte Avenue to City Cemetery, under Improvement Resolution No. 1105. In the City of South Bend, Indiana', In the above matter property owners appeared and objected, and the Board after considering same rescinded all action on said resolution,.and property owners signed petition for grade curb and walk on South,Side of Linden Avenue from La Porte - Avenue to City Cemetery and resolutin was ordered on same. Renewal certificate of L.<H. Webster for the,sum of $10000.00 on Excavation bond was approved. Renewal Certificate for the sum of $1,000.00 for Staples & Ackerman excavation bond was approved. Ex cavation bond for the sum.of.$1,000..00 signed by Rescoe Meyers was approved. Petition filed for the grading, Electric Lights'and water main on Thrush Street, 4.v sax, t ordered held up until Thrush Street is opened full ;width. Petitions filed and resolutions ordered -as fbllows:- Sewer on California Street from Cleveland Avenue to Diamond Ave. Gradd=: C :-&oX.Oswald Court from Walnut Street to Magnolia Street. G ad#, curb -and walk on Magnolia St. Ko-sciussko Street, Pulaski Street from Indiana venue to N: J. I. & I. R. R. Remonstrance -filed against sewer on St. Vicent Street from Stanfield Street to Notre Dame Avenue. Grade, curb and walk on Dale Avenue from Donald Street to Ewing Ave. Engineer filed filowi ng report on re -assessment of Michigan Street Trunk sewer on John Tasher property which was approved following resolution approved adopting and confirming re -assessment roll.
