Board :net in regular session at 7:15 P.M. All members present. Hearing had on assessment roll and final estimate for Sheet asphalt pavement on Lincoln Way East from Washington Avenue to Sample Street under Improvement Resolution No. 1330. _ In the above matter property owners appeared and remonstrated against parts of sidewalk being replaced. Emms Dice adppeared and objected to paying far nine inches of pavement; which she claimers did not belong to her pro- perty. After hearing all interested parties present, this h aring continued until' Wedne slay September 2nd,, 1925 at 7:15 P.M. Hearings had on fallowing assessment roils and final estimates. Pavement on Talbot Avenue from Howard Stredt.to South Bend Avenue under Improvement Resolution No. 1456. Filed August llth., 1925. Pavement on alley north of Washington Avenue from St. Pauls Place 'to ' Elm Street under Improvement Resolution No, 1475. Filed August, 11, Pavement on 1st alley west of St. Paul's Place from Colfax Avenue to Washington Avenue under Impt. Res. No. 1526. Filed August, 1191925. Pavement on alley between Wakewa Avenue and Tonti Avenue, from Tecumseh Avenue to Lafayette Street unde Improvement Res. No. 1473. Filed Aggust.11th., 1925. Pavement on 2nd. alley west of St. Paul's Place from Colfax Avenue to lst, alley south of Colfax Avenue, under Impro vement Resolution No, 1528, Flied August ..l1th.1, 1925. Concrete pavement on alley between Portage Avenue and Ashland Avenue frjm_Rex Street to Ports-ge Court. under Improvement Resolution No. 1396. Filed July 8th., 1925. Continued until Sept. 2nd,1925 at 7:15 P.M. Water connections on Washington Avenue from Michigan Street to Lindin Avenue under Improvement Resolution No. 1416. Filed August, 12th., 1925. In the above matter no remenstrators appeared and no written remonstrances were filed(with exception of alley pavement under Improvement Res. Noi 13,96.) The Board therefore finds that the property assessed in said rolls filed. August llth., 1925 is benefittea in the amounts as shown on said rolls, and the Board further finds, that the assessment rolls filed August llth. 1925 and the final estimates allowed August llth., 1925 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Ave under Int ®vement Resolution No. 154 In tfie above meter remonst,ra-ors appeared on Improvement, Resolution No. 1548 and said resolution mortified to read. from Michigan Street, to 1st, alley bast of Michigan Street instrad of to St. Joseph Street. After hearing all interested parties present, the Board decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement, are equal to the wstimated cost of the same, and the Board therefore now confirms the said resolution Date for receiving, opening and considering sealed proposals for the construction of said work fixed as September 15th., 1925 at 10:00 A.M. and notice thereof ordered published as provided by law. Hearing had on resolutionfor pavement in alley between Elder Street and Paris Street from Carrell Street to 2nd. alley west of Carrell Street. Remonstrance filet acid remonstrators appeared. After hearing, the Board decides that thr benefits to property liabe to be assessed for said improvement, are equal to the estimated cost of the same, and -the Board therefore now confirms the said resolution. Date for receiving,, Opening and considering sealed proposals for the construction of said pavement fixed as Sept. 15th,, 1925 at 10:00 A.M. and notice thereof ordered published as provided by law. Hearing had on Vacation Resolution No. 100 for the Vacation of alley lying between lots 11 in Perley Lumber Company's Addition and lat 15 in Stover and kam9iexx Witwer's Addition from M"al Street to the first alley west of Main Street In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed. The Board therefore sustain all farmer action taken on said resolution and declare the above described property in all things vacated and this resolution in al.l things ratified, confirmed and approved. And the Board now orders that a list Or roll be prepared of all owners or holders of property and of valueable interests therein sought to be taken or to be injuriously effected which list or roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected. Petitions filed for following : Place light s on Laurel Street between Washington Avenue and Jefferson Blvd, at an alley. Referred to Inspector for report. Waiver for sewer on South Street signed by Whitcomb and Keller and School City of South Bence, Indiana. Confirmed ( See files for original copy of waiver.) Webster at..$467.00 Contract for sewer on court along west line of Washington Avenue School property from Sample. Street to 600 ft. south of south line of Sample Street aw rded to L. H. Webster at..000041,193.50 The City Engineer having reportpd on tabulation of bids. preliminary order was entered as follows:- Sheet asphalt pavement on Lafayette Street from Wakewa Avenue to Parkovash Avenue now designated as.the kind of pavement with which said street is to be improved, and further action herein is continued until 8th. day of September 1925 at 10:00 A.M.
