Bids were received opened and read as follows:- Pavement on Lafayette Street from north line of Wakewa Avenue to south line of Pa,rkovash Avenue. Bids submitted by the Albert Constr. Co. H. W. Reed & Sons Constr, Co. Williston Construction Company, ( See files for original bids.) Pipe sewer on Court along the west line of Washington School property from Sample Street to a point 600 feet south f the south line of Sample Street. # 1532. Bids submitted by L. H. Webster, I. W. Staples, Rocco Simeri, S. U. Ackerman and Giovanni Lugsresi, ( See files for original bids.) Pipe-�sewer'on Carroll Street from Dubail Avenue to a paint 20 Feet sough of the south line of the alley south of Dubail Avenue. Bids sub mitted by Rocco Simeri,, Giovanni Lugaresi, L. H. Webster. Water min -on Angella Avenue, Osteme Avenue, Parkovash Avenue, North Shore Drive. Mhrquette Avenue all above mentioned streets in North Shore Terrace under improvement Resolution No. 1505.-- Assessment rlllsadopted and final estimates allowed. Notice of adoption of the assessment rolls and of hearings upon the same on the 9th. day of September 1925 at 7:15 P.M. ordered published as prVided by law. Atty. G. A. Elliott appeared before the Board representing the Roanne Petroleum Company and the following agreement filed and approved. August 24,1925. Board. of Public Works, South Bend, Indiana. C,entlemen: -- The undersigned Rozanns Petroleum Company hereby files its petition and requests permission to change the driveways at their filling station located at the North east cornerof Lincoln Way lest and North Scott Street as follows, to - wit: -Firsts by changing -the ' East driveway running North and South so that the East line of said: driveway twxkka curves to the North east and intersects a point in the Southerly curve line of Lincoln Way West at right angles to Lincoln Wary West opposite the North east corner of the above described property following a 42 degree radius giving approximately eight (8) feet additional driveway from the east, line'of the present driveway. Second,•by changing the south driveway running east and west beginning at the south west corner of the present, grease rsok and following a 22 degree radius and. intersecting the east line of North Scott Street giving approximately ten (10) feet ad itional driveway space. Third. Tour petitioner further requests permission to move the fire hydrant• located at the North east cornerof the Companyts property near Lincoln Way West moving said fire hydrant east to a point to be designated by the Water Works Department beyond the -point -of the intersection of the east driveway and 11aiM beyond the point of the proposed intersection of the East driveway and Lincoln Way West,•the total cast of said removal to be paid by the undersiged upon presentation of proper bill by the Water Works Department. .
