The Board of Public Works kavixg under consideration hearing of a Trunk sewer under Improvement Resolution No. 1544 for Fairvi*w Street and Main Street Trunk sewer and havixg given notice of the adoption of said resolution, met pursuant to ae►id Atttoe and at the time and plae*d fixed therein, and no :rtmonst'rances or evidence being presented by any persons interested in said proposed improvement, the Board now, finds that the area or, district to be drained is property bounded an described in asaid preliminary resolution, as follows:- Beginning at a point in the cent, line of the alley west of Michigan Street'and said point being sevon hundred and fifty six .(756') test south of the south line of Ewing Avenue, thence west along a< lime seven hundred and fifty six feet south of and parallel tothe south line of Ewing Avenue to the east, right of way line of the Terre Haute and Logansport Railroad thenc* north along said right of way line a distance of two hundred and fifty six (256 ) feet thence -west along j line five hundred (5t?0') feel, south of and parallel to the south line of Ewing'Avenue to the tenter line of;Soott,St,reet produced south; thence south. along the centr line of Scott Street produced south to a point two hundred (2001) feet south of the north linelof the southeast quarter of Section 239 Township 37 North Rang* 2 East; thence east along a line two_- hundred (200') feet, south of and parallel tothe north line of the southeast quarter of said section 23 and the north line of the south west quarter of Section 24 in said Township and rang*, tothe easterly tight of way line of the Terre Haute and. Logansport Railroad; thence suth westerly along said right of way line to the south line of se etion 23 Township 37 North , Range 2 East; thence east along the south line of sec.tlonsi23 and 24 in said Township and range tothe center line, produced south, of the alley west of Michigan Street; thence northerly along the center libel produced south, of the -alley west of Michigan Street, and the center line of the alley west of Michigan Street tothe place of beginning, and further finds that the special benefits to the property within such district or area and the benefits to the City (if any) will -equal tO or exceed the estimated colt of the proposed improvements as shown by the estimated of the City Engineer, heretofore filed, and the said resolution is now in all things confirmed.. The Board of Public Works having under eonsideratign hearing of a Trunk sewer under Improvement Resolutien:-No. 1543 known as Sub -Trunk sewer on Ewing Avenue and Main Street, and having given n_otioe of the adoption of said resolution met, pursuant to said notice and at the time and placed fixed therein, and no remonstrant or otidenee being presented by any persons interested in said proposed improvement, the Board now finds that, the area or district to be drained is properly boundred as described in said preliminary resolution, as follows:'.Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Kendall Street and the alley north of Ewing Avenue, thence south along the canter line of Kendall Street and said line produced south, to a point five hundred (5001) feet south of the south line of Ewing Avenue; thence east along g line five hundred (500') feet south of and parallel to the south line of Ewing Avenue tothe .:ast right of way line of the 'Ter" Haut* and Logansport Railroad; thence south along said right of way .line a distant of two hundred and fifty six (2561) feet; thence Nast along a line'soven hundred and ditty six-(7561) feet south of and parallel to the south line of Ewing Avenue, to the alley Nest of Michigan Street; thence north along the alley west of Michigan Street to the ally south of Ewing Avenue; thence ._ ast along the alley south of Ewing Avenue tsthe west line of Michigan Street; thence north -along the west line of Michigan Street,' to the north line of lot 15 in Bowman's Addition tothe town of Myler_ now a part of the City of South Band, Indiana, thence west along . the north lines of legs 15916 and 51 in said Bowme:n's Addition tO the alley west of Main Street; thence north along the alley west of Main Street to the north lines produce(( east, of lot 9. in Calvert's Sub. of lots 13,14 ,15,16,17, and 18 in Orchard Lawn Addition; thence west alag the north line, produced: west,. of lot 9 in said Addition and the north line _of lot 9. in said addition to the terst alley cast -of Lafayette Street; thence south along the first alley east of Lafayette Street to the alley north of Ewing Avenue; thence west along the alley north of Ewing Avenue to the west line of Lafayette Street; thence south along the west line of Lafayette Street to the north,line of_lot 31 in South Lawn'Addition; thence west along the north line of` said tat 31 to the alley west of Lafayette Street; thence north along the alley west of Lafayette Street to the -alley north of Ewing Avenue, thence west along the alley north of Ewing Avenue to the point of beginning. and further finds that the special benefits to the property within such district or area and the benefits to the City ( if any) will be equal to or exceed the estimated cost► ®f said proposed Improve- ment as shown by the estimated of the City Enginaer, heretofore filed, and the said resolution is now in all things cenfirmod. Date for receiving, opening and considering sealed proposals for the construction of,°said sewer fixed as September 8th., 1925 at 10:00 A.M. and notice thereof ordered published as provided by law. 734 The Board -of Public Works having under consideration a hearing on a Sub -Trunk sewer known as Huron Street and Anthony Street, under Improve- ment Resolution No. 1542, and having given, notice of the adoption of said resolution, met pursuant to said notice and at, the time and placed fixed therein, and no'.remonstrators appeared or evidence being presented by any -persons interested in said proposed improvement. Wednesday August 19th., 1925. Continued. Hearing had on Resolutions as follows: - Pipe sewer on Angella Avenue from Iroquois Street to Lafayette Street under Improvement, Resolution No. 1538. Pi a sewer on Poland Street From Meade Street to a point eight, 8' ft. west of the west line of the alley east of Klley Street under Improvement Resolution No. 1536. PiPe sewer n Harris Street from Prairie Avenue to Ewing Avenue, under Improvement Resolution Ns. 1539. a Pavement on Ostemo Street from Lafayette Street td Iroquois Street under Improvement Resolution No. 1534. Pipe sewer an Swygart Avenue from Indiana Avenue to New Jersey Indian and Illinois RailRoad Company under Improvement Resolution No, 1537. Pipe sewer on Morris Street from Prairie Avenue to Ewing Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 1539. Property owners appeared at above hearings but no written remonstrances were filer. After hearing the Board decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement, are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as and the Board therefore now confirms the said resolutions , Date-for-receivings opening and considering sealed proposals fv the construction of said surer fined as September Sth., 1925 at 10:00 A.M. and notice thereof ordered published as provided by law. Hearing had on Vacation Resolution No. 99 for Vacation of alley lying between lots 6 and 7 in Burroughs B. 0. L. 115 and between lots 56 and 57 in genrieks and Grant's Addition from Marion Street to Navarre Street. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore sustain all former action taken on said resolution and declare the above described property in all things vacated and this resolution in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. And the Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners or holders et - property and of valuavle interests therein sought to be taken or to be injuriously adfoo-ted which list or roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected. Grade, curb and vPalk on Huey Street from Lincoln Way West to alley south of Frederciskon Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 1453, Grade-, curb -and walk and pavement on Wayne Street' , Wayne St. N. and Wayne Street South from Eddy Street to a line between went corners of lots 67 od 166 Sunnymede Addition, under Improvement Resolution No. 1457. Grade, curb -and valk and pavement on.Sunnymede Avenue Zrom Eddy Street to east line of lo. 302-.Sunnymede. Addition, under Improvement Resolution No. 14 Brick pavement on Washington Avenue from Michigan Street to Lincoln Way East under Improvement Resolution No. 1331. Water connections-on,Sunnymede Avenue from East line of lot 302 Sunnymede Addition to East -line of lot 295 Sunnymede Addition. under Improvement Resolution No. 1529. Mexican Sheet asphalt pavement on Paa►rkovash Avenue from Lafayetto Street to Iroquois Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 1474. Assessment rolls adopted and final estimates allowed. Same approved and orded filed, property owner from Victoria Street between Michigan St. and Fellows Street apeared before the Board in re petition filed in 1924 and 1925 for pavement on said Street. Same deferred until Spring of 1926.
